Clogged drains

How do I unclog my kitchen sink?

If your disposal is clogged, the sink may back up.  Under the sink, a small allen wrench should be attached to the disposal.  Insert the wrench into the hole located on the bottom of the disposal and move it back and forth an inch or so in each direction. Turn on the water and disposal.  If the drain has not cleared, call maintenance.

My toilet is plugged.

Try a plunger to clear the clog.  If the clog won’t clear, shut off water using the valve* behind the toilet.
*Shut-off valve is located on wall on left side below tank…turn clockwise.

DO NOT flush again! Call maintenance.
